I’m one of the few hairdressers in the UK to be awarded the Colour Specialist degree, also currently a L’Oréal Educator in Northern Ireland. Colour is my passion; in all areas of my life I need colour! I really get a buzz from seeing my team members moving forward, taking part in photo-shoots, charity days & competitions.

I started at Peter Maud as a stylist, I have been working with the salon for over 20 years now! I moved on to educating our new apprentices, instilling the values and expectations we have here. I train them in everything from cutting, colouring and blow drying. I love my job as salon educator and love watching the kids grow in the industry and find their style and what they love.

I love my job and wouldn’t be anything but a hairdresser, because I get the feel good factor when clients leave the salon feeling wonderful about how they look. I enjoy doing colour work; you can be very creative and change the look of your hair without actually cutting it.

I have been working here from October 2021 and I am one of the apprentices here and I just love it! I always knew I wanted to do something in the fashion industry. Last minute in September I decided it was a hairdressing career I wanted to pursue and luckily enough I got my apprenticeship here! I wouldn’t change if I had the chance. Such a great industry!
